A little more about Me and why I care about You (and your bow legs and knock knees) November 5, 2011

My name is Nicole. I am the founder of, and I have bow legs -genu varum- meaning when I stand with my feet together, I have a considerable gap between my knees. It’s a fairly common thing, though the degree varies person to person.

I’m a very fashion conscious person, and it occurs to me that other women are also affected by bow legs and knock knees, and that they’re frustrated with the same issues that I face. These include finding clothes with a great and flattering fit.

Not to be able to wear leggings and those skinny jeans that are so in style is frustrating, and having to meet with tailors to have my pants adjusted to make the shape of my legs less noticeable isn’t the solution that I know many are looking for… wouldn’t it be great if you could order clothes made to look fabulous and complement your shape?

I want to offer up great fashions for women, like me, with x/o shaped legs, that visually straighten the legs and flatter.

Welcome to I’m glad you found us, and I hope you take some time to let us know what is important to you when it comes to fashion and outfits that look great on you! I’d love to hear from you, please leave your comments and questions below!

    • Carla October 28, 2012 at 4:01 pm

I’m quite interested to see what you come up with, Nicole. I’ve struggled with low self esteem all my life (34yrs old) from having knocked knees. I haven’t had any problems finding boyfriends. I’ve been lucky enough to meet accepting guys. However, dressing sexy can be an issue. I rely on maxi dresses and bit-below-knee length flowy skirts in the summer, and flare or boot leg jeans are my BEST friend! Of course, I would like to wear skinny jeans with boots and more form fitting dresses to the club, but that can’t happen right now. Hoping you have some solutions for us.

    • Saffron January 12, 2013 at 3:00 am

great idea! When will these be available?! As well as having bow legs I have really bony knees and funny looking feet… so it could be worse y’all!! Hide it as best I can… my latest thing is to wear knee length skirts (big step) with 3 pairs of thick winter tights/stockings AND THEN another opaque thin pair on top… then shop for shoes/boots with all that on… and then my legs look pretty ok! It’s a bit drastic and for obvious reasons only works in winter ;) and if you have skinny legs. The crazy things we do to be normal!

    • Saffron January 12, 2013 at 3:01 am

oh and has anyone got stiffness of the knees/aches etc? I’ve heard that we are more at risk of knee arthritis…. so no high impact running! Stick to swimming and cycling.

    • Lisa January 29, 2013 at 4:00 am

Wow! I’m very excited about this. I’ve struggled w/ my knocked knees since I was 15. I’m 20 now and I would absolutely love to be able to wear cute skinny jeans and leggings without being embarrased about my legs. I have a nice shape its just my knock knees that I hate. Keep me posted! I will definitely be purchasing from you.

    • Chenovia February 4, 2013 at 1:41 pm

I am happy I found this site because it is frustrating not being able to wear the most fashionable skinny jeans and leggings without be so self conscious like sumone is always watching your legs.I would really love to wear short dresses and these pants in confidence not being nervous or anxious about my knock knees. So i am happy you decided to help all of women who are bowleg and knock knee. I cannot wait to see your product line

    • mina February 6, 2013 at 8:41 pm

I have bow legs too. I’m really unhappy about that. I’cant never wear short clothes.

    • sara February 7, 2013 at 3:23 pm

This is so awesome! When will the line come out?!? Please post more info! thanks!
